Customer Churn in Subscription Business Model—Predictive Analytics on Customer Churn

چکیده

There is a growing tendency for more companies to develop towards subscription business model. Under such trend, it important learn about the customer churn rate within business, from and adjust strategies accordingly. This paper aims predict in models using variety of machine learning algorithms. Through comparing results different algorithms, best algorithms can be identified so that provides an insight on which algorithm should choose order most effectively. In this work, total 21 features 9 are taken into account. set rigorous procedure including data preparation, feature engineering, selection, model building, finally, evaluation, three namely Logistic Regression, Gradient Boosting (SMOTE) Neural Network outperformed other 6 The performing being Regression with its 79.6% prediction accuracy, thus conclusion when predicts rate, preferable algorithm. During process SMOTE did not improve performance as supposed to, recommended during building process.
